This course involves identifying and managing risk. The
course raises awareness of risk management and
explores the process, tools and techniques available for
the successful assessment and treatment of risk. Risk
management is increasingly recognised to be a critical
leadership skill and a key element in corporate
governance but few people in leadership roles have
specific training in these skills. We intend to address this
need by providing a broad introduction to the subject of
risk management.
The course can be used across all
sectors, including private and commercial companies,
charities and public bodies. The course is delivered using
a broad range of case study and group exercises.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This course is suitable for first line managers and other
professional staff members who are responsible for and
interested in issues of risk management.
